Astro 9

Astro 9 is founded and owned by 18yr old West Des Moines Valley High School Senior, Grady Walston.  During the fall of 2023, Grady was wearing his own clothing designs to school and pretty soon friends and strangers alike started asking where he got his shirt at? Astro 9 was born!  In March 2024, after selling about 500 shirts, Grady realized he wanted to make this more than a hobby. He created an LLC and also used his proceeds from shirt sales to hire an intellectual property attorney to file for Federal Trademark!  Each clothing item has a different design of a signature sticky note patch, with a positive I've note of encouragiment. His biggest shirt drop so far was a design he made that includes #MentalHealthMatters. Astro is wearable art with a touch of pure positivity.

Each purchase will help the programs and services for the homeless youth and those young people seeking mental health services in the Greater Des Moines, Iowa area. Everyone deserves a safe roof over their head and access to mental health resources. At least $1 of every shirt sale will be donated. On the website it will show the amount per design for designated donation.

We're not designing shirts, Grady is normally on the soccer field. He's a five-time state champion, and a national runner-up elite soccer player. Soccer has always been life, and now Astro9 is a close second. :)
